San Francisco Chronicle staff writer Lizzie Johnson will present on how to write compelling — and memorable — narratives during deadline-oriented events. Using her reporting during the first week of California’s deadly Camp Fire as a lens, she’ll explain easy story structures to use on a time crunch. She’ll also discuss how to find unique story angles when a community is overrun with media during breaking news.
